Basics
What is Silent Whispers?
A free-to-play, first-person cinematic romance adventure developed by VVANNA STUDIO and published by Archosaur Games, built in Unreal Engine 5. It's set in the fictional City of Fading Light and centers on three confirmed love interests: Alarik, Theron and Valen.
Is Silent Whispers an otome game?
Yes. It's marketed and covered by press specifically as an otome (female-oriented romance) title, with a fixed cast of three male love interests rather than a broader gacha character pool.
Who makes Silent Whispers?
VVANNA STUDIO, an internal team at publisher Archosaur Games, which is also known for Dragon Raja and Life Makeover.
What platforms will it be on?
PC, iOS and Android, all free-to-play. No console release has been mentioned.

Characters & story
Who are the three love interests?
Alarik (26, fire ability), Theron (24, can transform into a werewolf) and Valen (22, ice ability). See the Characters hub for full profiles.
Is Alarik really based on Sylus from Love and Deepspace?
Not officially. It's a widely repeated fan and press observation based on visual similarity (silver hair, dark high-collar coat), not a confirmed statement from Archosaur.
What is the City of Fading Light?
The fictional city the entire game is set in — see the Story & Setting page for a full breakdown of its time-loop, illusion-vs-reality premise.
Who wrote the story?
David Gordon and Hampton Fancher are credited with narrative and worldbuilding; Fancher co-wrote Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049.
Gameplay
Is this a visual novel?
Not in the traditional sense — it uses first-person, freeform 3D exploration rather than static backgrounds and branching dialogue menus.
Is there combat?
Not confirmed as a player-facing system. The three leads have combat-adjacent abilities, but no combat mechanics have been detailed.
Is it pay-to-win?
Unconfirmed. Monetization details haven't been published; expect some form of in-app purchase given the free-to-play model and the publisher's gacha background.
